Chang’s work has been admired and congratulated by many. He has been given professional attestation by a couple of noteworthy publications. These include the Better Photography magazine, “interview of the month” (June 2004), the Times Journal of Photography magazine (April 2003).

William Chang’s nascent talent was honoured in the Finalists of 23rd Annual Spring Photography Contest 2003, where he was one of the few contestants to receive an Award of Excellence. The Photographer’s Forum magazine issued the award and published a specimen from Chang’s travel collection in the Photographer’s Forum Best of Photography Annual 2003.

His training and skill were supervised and moulded by renowned photographers Iqbal Mohamed, Paul Liebhardt, Jim Hughes, Megan Cramer, Jonathan Kingston, Apu Sista and Rudy Loupias, all of whom belong to the alumni of Brooks Institute of Photography, United States of America.
